Westie taken to Avenue Vets in Kettering, Northants on 29th July’13, claimed by wrong person? UPDATE REUNITED!!!

Amazing news…Ralph is back with us!! He was sold on this evening and a very lovely honest lady, brought him……so so very happy to have him backxx thank you to you all for your support and making this happen and my gratitude to Danielle Skoyles I can’t find the words for, but thank you again xx

Owner says he was bought from travellers, buyer spotted him on someone’s facebook and returned him!!   1st August’13/

Message from owner:-  Can the lady who has our lovely Ralph, please please return him….We are not interested in anything but getting our boy back. If you are not comfortable contacting anyone, then please just hand him into Kettering’s dog warden, as they have our details. Because this dog is now not lost, but stolen, we have had to contact the Police. Please can you all share so hopefully the person who has him will see this post! We love him and just want to get him back…….31st July’13.

MESSAGE FROM LADY WHO TOOK STRAY RALPH TO THE VETS:-

On Monday two girls knocked on my door with a stray white male Westie dog wearing a worn red leather collar. They found him in my street and knocked on my door to ask if we could identify whose dog it was.

Neither myself or my hubb knew where the dog lived so I did the best thing I could at that time and took the girls & dog to my vets to see if the dog was microchipped. Unfortunately the lovely little thing wasn’t chipped so the vets called the Dog Warden to take the dog into its care.

We left the vets and on returning home I posted the dogs pic on this and other local pages appealing for its owner to contact the vet to claim their pet …. The dog was collected by a 25yr old woman within an hour from the vets having seen the post on FB…

…. SADLY the woman in question was an opportunist and BOGUS. The dog was handed over by the vets, unfortunately without checking the woman’s identity or claim to the dog.

So now the real owners of Ralph the white 10yr old Westie are distraught that their dog has been stolen and they want to find this woman and get Ralph home.

He is a very much loved family pet. If anyone knows where he is please contact The Avenue Vet Hospital, Kett 512200 or message myself or Tina Horton …. Please please SHARE. Ralph will be home sick and stressed
