UPSETTING UPDATE BUT NIPPER IS HOME AND OK:-
NIPPER NEWS – Unfortunately we will never know truely what happened to this little fella. What I can say is – he was taken by an opportunist thief and ended up in Rochester where he was found walking the streets this morning by someone who does not want to be named and who thankfully took him into the local RSPCA aware of who he was thanks to all you sharing. He had been tied up with dirty rope and a cable tie had been put on his tail to ‘dock’ him. He is flea ridden, dehydrated and has lost a lot of weight. We dont know whether he was dumped being THTH or whether he escaped. Vet said the cable tie had been on since he was abducted and would have caused a lot of pain. He is not himself right now and is overnighting at the vets being ‘treated lke a king’ and rehydrated until he can have an operation tomorrow to fully amputate his tail. Please all of you be aware how rife this dog theft is and be vigilant. Please take the time to like this page and join the campaign to make vets scan dogs more readily. At the moment it seems a dog will usually ONLY be scanned if it is dead or a stray. This needs to change ! Thank you all again for your support and help – we did it !!!! 8th July’15.

Morning lovely people – a NIPPER update – He is up and about this morning. Still a bit nervy which is no surprise considering what he has been through, and obviously he has no tail to wag anymore…..but he is getting better and that’s what counts !
On another note please, please try and raise awareness of the importance of Bruce Forsyths campaign to get vets scanning and also to get your dogs INSURED. If Nipper had been insured Gary could have had financial help to find Nipper and pay for his subsequent treatment (£958.00 so far) so it is REALLY important.
Melissa Hispanioliss to PLEASE HELP FIND NIPPER !
The thief is still at large!
