SOOTY IS HOME! 22.1.13. I have the greatest of pleasures to say that this young man has finally been reunited with his family. Missing for three weeks.
The family had placed an advert on Preloved. Someone called the family to say they had seen a dog very similar to Sooty and gave them the address. The police were contacted and thank goodness they took it seriously, went round, had him scanned and he is now safely back home. Many thanks to the person who rang the family and to Greater Manchester Police who took the theft seriously.
Sooty’s family have never given up, they have checked out every bichon found and I am so glad all their hard work paid off.
I can now update fully on Sooty as the Police have said they can’t/won’t take any further action.
The story was:- A young girl had found Sooty and kept him. They were still calling him Sooty which completely gave it away and when the police visited she gave them Sooty’s ID tag that he had been wearing when he was stolen, the contact number was up to date.
If it hadn’t been for the family placing the ad on Preloved and the right person seeing it Sooty would still be living with the girl that found him but thought she would keep him. MANY many thanks to the person who contacted Dawn and Paul to let them know where Sooty was, you are a STAR!!!

Sooty is a male bichon frise, just 2 years old. It is unclear whether he was stolen or managed to escape from his garden. Sooty is MICROCHIPPED and is wearing an ID tag on his collar. Please share and help look out for him, thanks.
