STOLEN overnight from Wednesbury West Midland, WS10, on Thursday, 26th June 2014

It was a house burglary, the owner chased them down the road but couldn’t catch up with them.

Look at these gorgeous puppies please share- Three stolen puppies have been reunited with their owners while a fourth is still missing. The eight-week-old Shar Pei pups were seized from a house yesterday morning in Darlaston after a woman who suspected they were stolen alerted Walsall police. The two bitches and one dog were collected from the Victory Avenue property and were due to be taken to kennels but officers soon worked out that they were the same dogs taken from a burglary six days earlier in Wednesbury. Their owner, Kayleigh Hallard, was contacted and just eight hours after suspicions were raised, the three cinnamon coloured pooches were in the 26-year-old’s arms non-the worst for their ordeal. The pups were a right handful and, for something so small, caused a big commotion back at the station. We were pleased to be able to reunite the three dogs with their owner but we’re still concerned for the welfare of their brother. We want this case to have a happy ending and we’d love to see all four reunited. That’s why we're asking anyone who has bought a male shar pei over the past week to do the right thing and get in touch. The dogs were stolen from a garage at a house on Stonehouse Crescent, Wednesbury. At 1.20am in the early hours of Friday 27 June police received a 999 call reporting a burglary in progress. Officers raced to the scene but the dogs had gone and the offender had fled the area. We would also like to thank the woman who called us to share her suspicions that the pups were stolen. Enquiries continue to identify the thief and anyone with information which may help PC James should call him on 101.
