Message copied from owner on Doglost:- “Rufus has been found!!!!!! He was handed in this morning buy a person who spotted him gave us a call and brought him to us. He’s been taken to the local vet, and has been given a clean bill of health with the exception of an understandable runny tummy. He’s lost a bit of weight and his mini superman muscle have gone but once he’s settled after a week or two I’m sure we can work in getting his Heath and fitness back up to speed. He arrived at 11am, he’s had food and water and has demanded some play time with his favourite squeaky toy. Just like a child he’s fighting to go to sleep, I’m just waiting for the dinky bugger to get some shut eye.
Thank you to EVERYONE with all your help, loving thoughts and motivation to help me get this little boy home. I can’t stop staring at him and I can’t believe my eyes. Is been 7 weeks and 5days since Rufus decided to go on a big adventure. It’s been 7weeks and 5days since my world stood still. I’ve just got my world back!!”

If you find a stray dog, you must by law report it to the local dog warden!
We also believe Compulsory Microchip Scanning by vets, rescues, highways and dog wardens will help reunite many missing microchipped pets. Please sign here to help:-http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/50401
