Reuniting lost or stolen dogs with their owners

More and more of us are getting our dogs microchipped, but the microchip is no good unless vets, and police and dog rescue organisations, actually scan the dogs they see, and if necessary refer them back to PetLog to see where they came from, and check if they’re lost or stolen. Debbie and her campaign group are working to make sure this happens.
Meantime PetLog has set up links with similar databases across Europe, and is seeking recognition of this new network from the European institutions. I have offered to work with them to see how this can be achieved.
