So happy to report that Jess was found on the M1 motorway she is now at vets getting treatment she is limping and very bewildered and should be home tomorrow. 24th September’14.

My Name is Terry Stainforth and i would like to tell you about an upsetting incident.My daughter Tracy and her family were going on holiday to Ibiza and pickedFoxholes kennels at Haigh near Barnsley as a good place to put their pet dog Jess.
So they took her there on the Friday 12th of September at 10am and set off with her family on holiday in the safe knowledge that Jess would be in good hands.On her return the following Saturday 20th September Tracy my daughter and her husband Alex and her youngest daughter Abbie who is 9yrs old went to pick Jess up.The person who greeted them asked Tracy which dog she was picking up my daughter said Jess the employee said i will just fetch the owner.The family were informed that Foxholes had lost Jess in the first few hours of the first day and later received a letter stating that Jess was lost at around 16.25pm on Friday 12th of September 6 hours after Tracy had left the dog the letter also requested that it would be appreciated if she was to say that someone else had lost the dog and not Foxholes as they did not want any bad publicity they offered her compensation as though they had broke a kettle or something. My daughter and her family are very upset my youngest grandaughter Abbie is crying all the time.Foxholes did very little to try and find Jess and it seems they expected Tracy to try and find Jess after 7 days missing she has put posters all over but as yet to no avail.Please if anyone has seen Jess, she is a Patterdale/Jack russel cross with smooth black fur.Foxholes had a contact number but failed to inform anyone of the missing dog if they had my wife and i could have started searching whilst the trail was warm so to speak.Tracy was informed that Foxholes did not want to ruin the family holiday hello Foxholes you have spoiled it.This is a picture of Jess.

Jess went missing in the Haigh area of Barnsley S75 but lives in the Athersley North area of Barnsley. She may have tried to make her way home but could have gone in any direction . When she went missing she was wearing a flea collar and a black collar with studs. PLEASE look out for her !
