Two Rottweiler’s found by police in a horse box, reveals the thief of one is, allegedly, families son’s ex!

My oldest son (who lives in Glasgow) picked her up from Carlisle this afternoon, where she had been detained in the Carlisle Police Dog Unit facility, having been rescued from the cab of the thief’s horsebox, parked in a field. Hawkes is in cared-for condition but very fat, probably from being locked up for long periods. It turns out that her brother Gieves, who remained with my youngest son’s ex, was still wearing the old ID disc, one of a pair that both wore. Hawkes’ disc had been removed but when the RSPCA officer found the two in the lorry, she rang my youngest son’s number, which was on Gieves’ disc. When she reported two rotties together, we got the police in. The lady has been arrested and bailed. Jamie is bringing Hawkes to London by train either tomorrow or Monday.
Hawkes was stolen from home in Muswell Hill, London, N10 area.
