Everyone is still looking for him. A lady named Phebe come up from Chesterfield with her tracker dog, Wispa. This is what she wrote on her dog lost page…..Just got home after taking Wispa to track Harvey. Owner and friends also vets have done lots of publicity. We had been expecting that the trail would lead over the moors next to the farm, but it led down into the town and eventually through a park with playing fields and a wooded riverside path where the scent seemed a lot stronger than 3 days old. We followed it into Shaw, past Asda supermarket and past the old Osram factory and fishing ponds, and eventually to an open public green space with a steep wooded hill on one side. Owner will search this later with friend and his springers who are friendly with Harvey. This area has not been postered as no one thought he would head that way. Sad that we didn’t catch up with him, but at least we know where he has been and which area he is most likely to be moving around. ……
HARVEY SIGHTED
Red/chestnut Male Dogue de Bordeaux (Age: Adult)
Missing from Slances hey farm, OL2 area, (North West) onWednesday, 24th July 2013
Harvey is a Bordeaux, he’s extremely friendly with people but not always with other dogs! He is very ill and needs to receive daily medication. If he is not found he could suffer severe epileptic fitting.
Harvey is microchipped.
