A PUPPY has been stolen from a family in Waltham Cross in an “audacious” theft.
The puppy was stolen from an address in Creasy Court, off Raglan Avenue at around 12.30pm yesterday (Sunday, July 28th).
A man who was responding to an advert selling the dog had turned up for a viewing.
He then took the puppy and placed it in his car before driving off without paying the owners.
He drove off in what is believed to be a dark coloured Ford hatchback
Police have released a photo of the dog in the hope of catching those responsible.
Detective Constable Caroline Smith, who is investigating the incident, said: “This was a shocking and audacious crime which has left the family in shock.
“I would urge anyone with any information at all, to get in touch with us. Perhaps you know who this man is? Or you may have been offered this puppy for sale.
“If you have any information at all, please contact us as a matter of urgency.”
