UPDATE:- FRANKIE IS HOME. CCTV WORKS EVERY TIME! THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR SHARING. Police dropped FRANKIE back home, she was handed into a POLICE STATION. A man has been arrested.

Merseyside Police has released CCTV images of a man that officers would like to speak to in relation to an incident in Hunts Cross on Friday, 15 November, in which a dog was taken.

Police were called to the ASDA store in the Hunts Cross Shopping Centre, following a report that a dog had been taken from outside the front entrance of the shop.

Officers attended and an investigation is ongoing to identify the offender and CCTV has been examined.

Detectives believe the man pictured may have information which could help them with their inquiries.

The man is described as a white male in his 30s, 5ft 11in tall with a medium build and shaven dark hair. He was wearing a black fleece top with blue hood, grey combat trousers and black trainers.

The dog is called Frankie and is a border collie cross.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police on the 101 number or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
