ELLIE went missing from Dorset in March 2009 and was picked up as a stray 29th June 2014 in Fife, Scotland. After five years missing and 500 miles away from home, Ellie had an emotional reunion with her owner!

The kennel Ellie was taken to, scanned her and found her microchip. Ellie’s owner had just moved and after 5 years had not updated her microchip contact details, having given up hope of ever seeing Ellie again.

The kennels persisted and tracked Ellie down on Doglost and a volunteer was able to track the owner down!
