Three terriers were stolen from a gamekeeper at Cookley Green near Nettlebed, Oxfordshire at around 1:00 p.m. today, 1 April. The dogs were in alarmed secure kennels and the owners were only away for a short time. The thieves smashed the locks and ignored the alarms. The vehicle involved was a Blue Mitsubishi Shogun P962 GJH. A few minutes later, three suspicious persons in camouflage clothing were seen driving around a farm and a farmyard at Christmas, a mile or two away, also driving a dark blue Mitsubishi Shogun. The police arrived in force at the first incident within 10 minutes and also deployed their helicopter. This gamekeeper has now had a total of 14 dogs stolen involving four separate burglaries. It is likely that the same gang is involved, who make their way cross country to the back of the premises.
