Tibetan Spaniels Found
According to today’s Daily Mail, the owners of the six Tibetan spaniels stolen from Upton on Tuesday 27 December (Dogwatch 727) set up a Facebook site to try to trace their dogs. Within 24 hours more than 450 people had visited the site and the owners soon had enough evidence to point to a gypsy camp at Tadley. Police visited the camp and found one dog tethered outside a caravan. Another, a champion show dog, was found later wandering near the camp. A third dog was dropped by the thieves during the raid and returned home on its own. This leaves one bitch and two puppies still unaccounted for.
