Dog Thieves at Work?
There have been some unconfirmed reports recently, in the Long Crendon, Oakley and Worminghall area, of males approaching people when they are out walking their dogs and trying to steal them. It is also alleged that this has happened in Wallingford and Aston Rowant. Police are anxious to obtain hard facts. If you are able to throw any light on the matter, please let us know as soon as possible

When reporting a dog related crime on 999 or 101, the message will automatically be relayed to headquarters at Kidlington and a relevant communication will be “cascaded” to all interested parties including: Police Area Beat Officers; Dog Wardens; Re-homing Centres etc, as well as our own members.
