Dog Theft report for 4 Cocker Spaniel puppies from Dudley Police, 30th September’16

Dudley Police

We are investigating the theft of four cocker spaniel puppies, stolen during a burglary at a Dudley home.
The seven week old puppies were snatched around 5pm on Friday 30 September from Maypole Fields in Cradley Heath, Halesowen.
The dogs, worth £750 each, were taken from whelping boxes in a pen in the back garden of the property while the owners were out.
The thieves also took jewellery and electrical equipment.
Detective Inspector Nigel Smith said: “the pups are all micro-chipped and I’m appealing for anyone who is offered a cocker spaniel for sale to get in touch with us urgently.
“I would also like to hear from anyone in the Maypole Fields area who saw anything suspicious to call us- we know there was a black Vectra car the vicinity at the time of the break-in.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
