A DEVASTATED family have felt the kindness of strangers after hundreds of animal-lovers joined a campaign to find their missing dog.
Beloved pet Izzy, a five and a half-year-old sandy-coloured cockerpoo, disappeared from the Barratt estate in Outwood Road, Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, M26, on 16th February’15.
She ran out of the front door of new home of owners Ian and Dawn Purvis after Barratt’s builders let themselves into the property.
Izzy, who was wearing a pink collar, has been spotted in Outwood Road and Ringley Road and in the Sergeants Lane estate and Park Lane areas of Whitefield.
Mr and Mrs Purvis and their daughters Lauren, aged 14, and nine-year-old Eve, are desperate to bring their cherished pet back home.
A Facebook page set up to help find Izzy has had nearly 1,500 likes, posters have been put up across Radcliffe and thousands of leaflets have been given out.
