Brucie In Dog-Gone Desperate Appeal

TV favourite Bruce Forsyth has launched a desperate appeal for the return of his daughter’s kidnapped dogs.The two Yorkshire terriers were stolen from the back of Debbie Matthews’ car while she was shopping.

According to the Daily Mirror, Strictly Come Dancing host Brucie, 71, is doing all he can to reunite his devastated daughter with her beloved pets.

Gizmo and Widget were wearing distinctive red bandanna collars and identity discs when they were taken from the BMW 5 Series outside Marks & Spencer in Camberley, Surrey.

Mother-of-two Debbie, 50, said: “Dad’s been fantastic.

“Widget and Gizmo are like my kids and I want them back at home safely, where they belong.”

The theft took place eight days ago but Debbie didn’t want to involve her father at first in case it put the dogs in greater danger.

It is believed the pedigree terriers may have been stolen for their breeding value.

According to police dognapping is now Britain’s fastest-growing crime, with more than 200 dogs stolen every month by criminal gangs.
