So many people have asked how I got Arfa and Betty back so here it is… I missed a call from what turned out to be the cat and dog shelther and when I rang back it was shut, in the end I rang the microchip company who told me Betty had defo been found but Arfa hadn’t. So the next day I went down and picked up Betty, I asked the circumstances of how she was brought in and the people at the cat and dog shelther didn’t really know. It wasn’t until later on when I received a phone call from a lovely woman who told me she had found Betty running down her street in Denton, she had just got out of a taxi when she spotted Betty so she took her into her house and gave her some water, the taxi driver came back and said his relative owned a grooming shop and he would take her there and ring the dog warden. Im so thankful to this lady for making sure she was safe. Two days later I receive a phonecall off a withheld number saying they think they had found Arfa and would meet us late at night on the condition there were no police involved, at this point I just want him home so I agree, whether this person really did just find him or had something to do with them been stolen I don’t know and have no proof either way, when asked where he had found Arfa he didn’t give a clear answer. Arfa has a skin infection and Betty has an ear infection but it could of been a lot worse. The main thing is they are home where they belong.xxxxxxx
REUNITED. UPDATE FROM OWNER:-
Betty has been found but Arfa is still missing! She got found by a dog walker in a street in Denton, whether Betty got out or they let her out I don’t know. I’m upset that Arfa isn’t home but i’m so pleased Betty is, i’m spending loads of time giving her kisses and cuddles, one thing I will say is who ever had her has overfed her! Thank you all so much for your help just need my little man back now xxxxx
Original post:- STOLEN. Arfa and Betty are fawn coloured pugs, they are both 1yr 4months. They were stolen out of a back garden in Lemington, Newcastle Upon Tyne at approx. 4pm on 8th May’13.
Arfa is blind in his right eye, Betty has no scars or marks.
Both dogs are MICROCHIPPED.
