It took RIO seven years for her microchip to be scanned and reunited ❤️

This is from Northumberland County Council Dog Warden. Can you imagine that phone call?

Happy ending today at work, Rio was stolen from her Mam 7 years ago and all thanks to her microchip she was reunited today after being found as a stray dog, in a poor condition and clearly had several litters. Harsh truth is probably she's now too old to breed from so has been turfed out. Nothing a bit of TLC won't sort. 🐶♥️

It's taken a long time, 7 years of heartbreak but Rio is home. This is why we microchip our pets, we just didn't realise we needed a lot of luck for the microchip to be scanned and registration checked!

If only she could talk!!
