First Dedication Award from DTA and VGS goes to Petlog at Crufts 2008.


Dog Theft Action (DTA) and Vets Get Scanning (VGS) announced at Crufts that their Dedication Award 2008 would go to Petlog. The award is given in recognition of their ‘exceptional commitment to reducing dog theft in the UK’.

Victoria Stilwell, animal behaviourist and presenter of the Channel 4 series It’s Me or the Dog, has been working with Dog Theft Action, a charity which helps to raise money for microchipping equipment and Vets Get Scanning dedicating a programe to Debbie Matthews stolen dog story with Widget and Gizmo. Victoria presented the award to Celia Walsom Executive of Petlog, the microchipping database service run by the Kennel Club.
