Are your pet’s microchip details up to date? Poster for your Vet.

Are your pet’s microchip details up to date? If your dog or cat’s microchip registration is not holding your correct contact information they maybe rehomed or put to sleep!

Over 40% of vets couldn’t reunite stray pets with their owners due to incorrect contact details on the microchip database. Ask your Vet to download and display the poster in their practice waiting room and don’t forget to check your own pets registration.

The Law and Microchipping – Please note that as of the 6th April 2016, every dog must be microchipped by the keeper of that dog in the UK and registered on one of the authorised commercial databases as well as wearing a dog tag in public.

You can be fined up to £5,000 if your dog does not wear an identification tag and up to £500 if your pet is not microchipped and if the contact details are not up to date.
